Nurse Delegation for Registered Nurses

This class is for Registered Nurses in a role that requires them to
provide Nurse Delegation services to Long Term Care Clients in
Assisted Living, Home Care, Adult Family Homes and or as private
Registered Nurse Delegators. We encourage all Licensed Practical
Nurses working in these setting to go through his class even though
they do not need the class. Please note that this class is NOT a
requirement for delegation in the state of Washington. Upon
completion of this class, attendees will demonstrate understanding
of the following;

-Nurse delegation as encapsulated in the Nurse Practice Act
-History of Nurse Delegation
-Nursing Delegation Process as it relates to the Nursing Process
-Specific Forms and Documentation
-Caregiver credentials; HCA, NAC, NAR, Exempt Status
-How to design and implement a Nurse Delegation Program
-Creating and using your own forms
-Presenter: Dr. Albert Munanga, DrBH, MSN, RN, HC

This class will provide attendees with 4 contact hours
of continuing nursing education hours for Washington
State Nurses. Certificates will be mailed to the address
provided within 10 days of attending this class.
