SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES
for Independent Living at Home
Whether you’re seeking greater independence, transitioning into your own home, or supporting a loved one with intellectual or developmental disabilities, Serengeti can help. Our Supported Living services provide personalized, relationship-based support that empowers individuals to live safely, confidently, and actively in their community.
What Is Supported Living?
Supported Living services help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible in their own home.
Whether someone lives alone or with one to three others, support is tailored to the individual, from a few hours per month to 24-hour assistance.
Individuals manage their own living expenses (rent, food, and personal needs). Our role is to provide the right level of support to help with daily routines, build life skills, stay connected in the community, and work toward personal goals.

Who Is Eligible?
Supported Living services are available to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to live as independently as possible in their own home. Eligibility and support levels are typically determined through an assessment by the Developmental Disabilities Community Services (DDCS), formerly known as DDA.
Service Levels
Support can range from a few hours per month to 24-hour assistance, depending on assessed needs. Services are built around what the person needs to be safe, supported, and moving toward their goals.
Living Arrangements
Individuals may live alone or with one to three others. People maintain control of their home and daily life, while receiving support that helps them stay organized, connected, and confident.
