Dr. Albert Munanga is a highly accomplished healthcare professional and scholar with a diverse range of expertise in health and clinical services. With his extensive background, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as the Chief Executive Officer for Serengeti Care.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Dr. Munanga serves as clinical faculty at the prestigious University of Washington School of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics. As an esteemed author, he has published a book titled “New Rules of Engagement: Infection Control in Group Settings,” which focuses on infection control protocols. His commitment to sharing his expertise extends to numerous professional journals, including publications in JAMA Internal Medicine, Journal of Gerontological Nursing, and the Washington State Nurses Association. Dr. Munanga’s groundbreaking work on COVID-19 has also been featured in reputable news agencies such as the LA Times, New York Times, Washington Post, and The Atlantic.

Beyond his scholarly endeavors, Dr. Munanga actively participates in various long-term care committee organizations at both state and national levels. He currently chairs the Washington State Long-Term Care Committee and is a recent member of the American Health Care Association quality committee. Dr. Munanga’s dedication and contributions to the healthcare industry have earned him recognition, including the 2020 All Star Risk Award from Risk and Insurance magazine.

Dr. Munanga holds a Doctor of Behavioral Health degree and a Master of Science in Nursing degree. Dr. Munanga continues to make a profound impact in the field.
