WHAT TO EXPECT
Most franchises hand you a manual. Serengeti builds you a launch sequence.
Build before you arrive.
Before you arrive for the intensive, you complete a structured pre-opening curriculum: a self-paced digital learning path covering home care fundamentals, the Serengeti brand and clinical standards, and the ACHC framework. During this phase we also work with you on territory confirmation, entity setup, and your launch checklist so you arrive at onboarding ready to build rather than orient.
Hands-on training across the full operating model.
Five full days, in person at our Federal Way, Washington headquarters or delivered virtually, covering the entire operating model: clinical protocols, caregiver recruitment and culture, referral-partner outreach, scheduling and billing systems, compliance and documentation, and local marketing. You meet the founders, work through case studies from real Serengeti territories, and leave with a 90-day launch plan tailored to your market.
Training stays active as your territory grows.
Quarterly coaching calls, an active franchisee peer network, targeted field support, and on-demand access to our clinical and operations leaders. Training isn’t a one-time event, it’s an annual rhythm designed to keep your operation sharp as your territory grows.

MONTHS 1-3
High-touch support to get you open and stable.
Start with a 5-day onboarding, state licensure and ACHC-aligned documentation setup, initial referral-partner outreach plan, caregiver recruiting kickoff, and weekly check-ins with your assigned launch lead. The goal of this phase is your first clients, your first hires, and a repeatable local rhythm.
MONTH 4-12
Support shifts into staffing, bookings, and performance.
Bi-weekly to monthly coaching, deeper marketing and referral-partner plays, caregiver retention support, and scheduled visits into your clinical metrics and unit economics. This is where we help you move from “open” to “fully staffed and reliably booked” across your territory.
YEAR 2+
Strategic support for building a larger business.
Strategic coaching on leadership, team-building, and multi-line-of-service growth, plus peer-network access to other Serengeti operators running at your scale. At this point the support shifts from tactical to strategic, how you build a bigger, more durable business in your territory.
