OUR COMMUNITY
Caring for those who care for others.
Caregivers give so much of themselves every day. Our Community gives something back, support, connection, encouragement, and practical help for the people caring for others.
Caregiving can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be isolating, demanding, and hard to sustain alone.
Our Serengeti Care Foundation Community exists to make sure caregivers know that they are not alone, and that support is part of the journey, not an afterthought.
If youβre looking for a community that understands the challenges and rewards of caregiving, and shows up when it feels like too much, youβre in the right place.
You donβt have to do this alone; reach out and let us walk alongside you.
Serengeti Care Foundation Community
Serengeti Care Foundation exists to strengthen caregivers through support, information, education, and compassionate connection.
We believe that when caregivers are cared for, families are stronger, communities are healthier, and care becomes more sustainable for everyone it touches.
Because caregivers need care, too.
Too often, caregivers are expected to keep showing up without the support they need for themselves. The Serengeti Care Foundation online community offers encouragement, resources, and a trusted place to reconnect with others who understand the realities of caregiving.
Lots of ways to get involved.
Whether you want to give once, give monthly, sponsor an event, or explore a corporate partnership, there is a path for you. Choose the path that fits you best:
INFORMATIONAL RESOURCES
Access guides, toolkits, and curated resources to help caregivers navigate complex care environments.
Serengeti Care Foundation is here for the people giving care, not just the ones receiving it. If youβre carrying the weight of caregiving, our community gives you room to breathe, with respite options, emotional support, and tools that help you feel more equipped, steady, and less alone.
Training programs and workshops that help caregivers feel confident, prepared, and up to date in their skills (including home care aide training supported through the Foundation).
Educational grants and scholarships to reduce the financial burden of advancing caregiving education and credentials.
Respite-related support and guidance that encourage caregivers to use backup help so they can rest and avoid burnout.
An online social community gives caregivers a way to connect, share experiences, and receive ongoing tips and encouragement.
Self-care tools and curated resources accessible through the caregivers section, focused on helping caregivers βthrive, rest, and reconnect.β
Serengeti Care Foundation offers practical, clearly defined support designed specifically for caregivers, not only for the loved ones they care for.
“There are only four kinds of people in this world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.”
β Rosalynn Carter, Former First Lady and Caregiving Advocate

Albert Munanga founded Serengeti Care on a simple but profound conviction: great care starts with caregivers who are trained well, supported deeply, and treated with dignity. His passion for quality, compassion, and equity in care is the heartbeat of both Serengeti Care and the Serengeti Care Foundation.
Through the Foundation, Albertβs vision expands beyond patients to the people who serve them, investing in caregiver wellbeing, education, and support so they can continue delivering safe, meaningful care at home and through every care transition.

“Excellent service and care. Dennis and James took excellent care of my father. James took extra time out of his day to reach out to me personally, to see how I was doing after my dad passed. I highly recommend them.”
