Cindy Dedrick is an experienced professional currently serving as the general manager for Serengeti Care. With a strong track record of leadership in the healthcare industry, Cindy has held various roles throughout her career.

As an assistant executive director at a senior living facility, Ms. Dedrick was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the building. This included ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations, maintaining positive relationships with residents and their families, and upholding company standards through effective maintenance systems and programs. She also supervised and motivated staff, implemented training programs and resolved issues to ensure resident satisfaction.

In her role as a community relations director at assisted living and memory care facility, Ms. Dedrick built relationships with community professionals to generate referral leads. She conducted marketing calls, made presentations at various organizations for seniors and worked towards meeting census goals. Additionally, Ms. Dedrick conducted tours and home visits, maintained accurate database records and completed competitive analysis for the community.

Dedrick also served as an expressions director at an assisted living facility, where she developed a successful memory care program that focused on person-centered care for residents. She provided training and education to employees on care policies, coordinated special events and ensured a positive relationship with the community. Cindy also played a key role in the recruitment and retention of qualified staff as well as assisted with personal care supplies budgeting.

Ms. Dedrick’s dedication to providing high-quality care extends to her certifications in various healthcare areas, including LEAD Certificate Manager Mental Health Specialty Training, Manager Dementia Special Training, Fundamentals of Caregiving, Nurse Delegation Certificate, First-Aid and CPR, Food Handlers Card, HIV/Blood Borne Pathogens and Coping with the Stress of Providing High-Quality Dementia Care. She also holds certifications as a Medication Aide and Personal Care Assistant from Prestige Senior Living.

With a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence, Ms. Dedrick brings exceptional leadership and genuine care to her role at Serengeti. Outside of work, she cherishes her role as a mother and a supportive wife. In her spare time, Ms. Dedrick enjoys quality time with her family and friends on the golf course.
