As a Veteran-trusted provider, Serengeti Care delivers non-medical, VA-authorized home care services designed to support daily living and overall well-being.

How VA Home Care Works
We make the VA process easier to understand and navigate. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Contact Your VA Primary Care Provider
Schedule an appointment with your Primary Care physician and ask about utilizing VA home care hours.
Step 2: Doctor Assessment & Referral
Your physician will assess your needs and submit a referral to the VA indicating the recommended number of care hours.
Step 3: VA In-Home Assessment
The VA will conduct their own assessment in the Veteran’s home to determine eligibility and level of care.
Step 4: VA Selects a Home Care Provider
Once approved, the VA selects an authorized home care agency and sends the referral directly to that provider.
Step 5: Serengeti Care Begins Services
Once the VA referral is approved and sent, Serengeti Care can begin services quickly, ensuring continuity and peace of mind for Veterans and their families.
